A Message from the Council

Over the past months, VAC staff and board members have been closely monitoring the status of the industry due to COVID-19 and discussing our role in keeping you essential, being available as issues arise, and providing relevant and timely information as a service to you.

In August, our Board of Directors met to evaluate the latest state guidance for public gatherings, discuss current employee-based travel restrictions, and review meeting alternatives utilized by other associations. Although it was not an easy decision, we recognized an in-person meeting this fall was not going to be possible as we hoped.

The Virginia Agribusiness Council is pleased to announce our first-ever virtual Annual Meeting and Policy Discussion Round Tables on October 28th and 29th.  We look forward to you and your organization's participation and we will provide plenty of ways to sponsor the event to get the most out of your experience in the coming weeks. We are excited to work with you to make this the first (and best) virtual conference we've ever hosted!
